(g) if you visit our store/s, personal data may be collect from access or monitoring devices such as CCTV or our access control systems

This includes (a) if you post a review of Storage Time on sites such as Google Reviews whereby we may combine any personal data from the review with other information. (b) if you post any comments or pictures on social media in relation to Storage Time. (c) if you connect with us on social media platforms, we may use data analytics and advertising tools to obtain personal data about you such as demographics, interests and other characteristics, to use for research and analytical purposes, as well as for targeted or online behavioural advertising. (d) information about your computer and your visits to and use of this website (including your IP address, geographical location, browser type and version, operating system, referral source, length of visit, page views, website navigation and details).

  4. How Long We Retain Your Information

The length of time we keep your personal information for is dependent on a number of factors such as the method of collecting your information, our legitimate interests and for any legal basis. We endeavour to do our best to only hold your information for no longer than what we deem necessary. We are required by law to hold your personal information as a customer for 6 years from the end date of your contract unless you have told us to delete your information.

Storage Time aims to maintain high security standards to ensure that your data is not leaked and held securely. Where possible, we will store your data electronically or in databases which can only be accessed with secure passwords and appropriate verification. It may be necessary for us to store your personal data in unstructured ways, such as on paper or in document formats which will be stored safely in locked offices or storage rooms. In this case, we would take precaution to ensure that the security and access to your information is maintained. It is important to note that although we try our best to maintain security of your data, it is at your own risk as we cannot guarantee security against accidental, unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorised access or insecurities of the internet. In situations where you are directed to other websites or third parties, it is important that you read their Privacy Policy as we cannot be held responsible for their dealings. Furthermore, if we have published any material electronically from a third party website or an email sent by a third party, we are not responsible for their Privacy Policy and practices so we recommend reading each parties own policies and practices.
